Know Who You Are Teaching

Incoming teachers need to be aware of the different cultures they are teaching. When teaching different cultures you have to be informed on what is offensive and is not offensive to their culture. It is your job to make sure the kids you are instructing are learning about the subject you are teaching whether it be math or music. Different cultures learn in different ways therefore you have to understand how they learn and develop your lesson plans to accommodate them.
