Well odysseus from the odyssey to go fight in the war. IT took him 10 years to fight and 10 years to get back home. odysseus was a hero in the cyclopes and in circe's island. I am writing this because i know odysseus was a hero. One of the ways he was heroic was at the land of the cyclopes.when the cyclopes came in odysseus told him his name was nobody so he could trick him. The next reason is when odysseus told them to make a sharp stick. then odysseus with all his strength threw it into the cyclops's eye. then odysseus led his men out of the cave under the rams and the crying cyclopes. then odysseus led them out on the hill. Then they got on the boat and the cyclopes went and threw a piece of land on them but odysseus guided them to safety. Then the cyclops got on his niece and threw his hand out and prayed to his father that odysseus dies. Ate the island odysseus was also very brave. when they got to the island odysseus told 23 of his men to go and explore the island. but they did not come back. odysseus took his sword and went to get them. he came up to the palace and saw a girl. He told her he wanted his crew. she said come in the room with me and then she turned his crew back. His crew and him were there for seven years until odysseus was brave to go back on his journey. The last way odysseus was heroic was when he got back home from ithaca. his home was filled with all of the suitors trying to take his place and his wife. Odysseus was discised as an old man got all the suitors in one spot and then killed them all. I chose to write about the odyssey Because odysseus was a very heroic character.He was
