1st Amendment: (RAPPS) Freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly and the right to petition their government. 2nd Amendment: Right to bear arms. 3rd Amendment: Government cannot Quarter soldiers in private homes. 4th Amendment: Protects against unreasonable searches 5th Amendment: Protects against self-incrimination and double jeopardy. 6th Amendment: rights of the accused 7th Amendment: ensures trial by jury 8th Amendment: No excessive fines or cruel punishments. 9th Amendment: Other rights retained by the people. (Peoples Rights) 10th Amendment: reserves powers not granted to the federal government to the states and the people. (States Rights)
