MEDI-PLEX HOSPICE CARE

We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us. Here at Medi-Plex Hospice, we know that this moment is neither frightening nor painful, but a peaceful transition. We will walk with you hand-in-hand, to give you and your family the care and attention necessary to make this transition as peaceful as possible. Our services cover all of your needs through using our: highly trained Home Health Aides to provide personal care and assistance with of your daily living activities volunteer team that have helped their loved ones make the transition as well. They will very instrumental in providing support, encouragement and companionship to you. social worker team to establish a support network of personal, financial and community based resources. bereavement services to all family members that need help coping with the loss of a loved one.

Medi-Plex operates its fully owned Hospice Center 24 hours a day.

The goal of our company is to provide a broad spectrum of home and community based services to meet the needs of the community. We are committed to listening and responding to your concerns; rapidly and precisely resolving your problems; and facilitating a positive customer experience. Providing home and community based services is an alternative to long-term care facility placement. Most seniors and disabled adults need assistance that can be provided in the community without displacement. Our goal is to assist individuals within their own home and familiar communities, living independently & comfortably as possible, in connection with family and friends. We will work with you to evaluate the level of care that is necessary to improve your loved ones quality of life. We offer a variety of services to give our clients the specific care they need.

Consumer Directed Services (CDS) is a Medicaid based program which provides personal care attendant (PCA) services to individuals with disabilities; enabling them to live independently. Individuals in the CDS program are trained to hire their own attendants to assist them with daily tasks such as: Bathing/Showering; Toileting; Obtaining/Organizing Medication; Meal Preparation/Cleanup; Housekeeping/Laundry; Essential Transportation. The CDS program is a consumer controlled model. Consumer control means that the person with a disability receiving services is the employer of the attendant. Program participants have the ability to locate, hire, set work schedules and manage their own attendants. A friend or family member may be hired as an attendant, with the exception of a spouse or anyone under the age of 18. The attendant must be able to pass criminal background screening, and become registered with Missouri State Family Care Safety Registry.

Everyone deserves the right to live a full and healthy life regardless of if they are insured, uninsured, or under insured. TRP is a nonprofit organization, whose main purpose is to sustain and advance the health and well-being of those people. TRPs Wound Care Assistance Program provides free wound care supplies, support and education to patients that experience chronic or acute wounds but lack the resources to pay for bandages thus promoting the healing process. This program is operated by skilled volunteers and is the only provider of free services in the greater metropolitan area. As a result, TRP is always looking for support, both monetary and in-kind, to help further this great cause.
