Chemistry Exam INDIVIDUAL Make-up Project Rubric This project will be worth 100 points.

You will create a concept map of the topics covered on the exam. You will show me how they are connected and you will include explanations of the major concepts. All major concepts from review included -25 points if all concepts are included -20 points if 1 or 2 are missing -15 points if 3 or 4 are missing -if there are more than 4 concepts missing you have missed the point of this project and it will not be accepted for make-up credit Each of the following will be worth additional points -correctly connected -5 points if you have lines connecting each of the topics correctly -4 points if you have 1 or 2 errors -3 points if you have 3 or 4 errors -if you have more than four errors I can assume that you do not understand how the topics are connected and no points will be awarded for this section. -logical order -5 points if I can follow your map with no questions -4 points if I can follow your map with 1 or 2 questions -3 points if I can follow your map with 3 or 4 questions -if I have to ask more than four questions while following your map I can assume you do not understand how the topics fit together and no points will be awarded for this section -easy to follow -5 points if your map is easy to follow -4 points if I get lost 1 or 2 times using your map -3 points if I get lost 3 or 4 times using your map -if I get lost more than 4 times using your map I can assume you do not understand how the topics fit together and no points will be awarded for this section -transitions between concepts make sense -5 points if the transitions between your concepts make sense -4 points if the transitions between your concepts mostly make sense -3 points if the transitions between your concepts attempt to make sense -if your transitions do not even attempt to make sense I can assume that you do not understand what a transition is or how it should be used and no points will be awarded for this section
