REPOSE

I. Quiet . . . listen to the Holy Grail spading The weeping sweat, the hopeful blood of the One copiously dripping, Lo! Joseph grinning at questioning minds! Set your eyes on fire, Let your soul burn, and the ashes flutter in the sky with peace. II. Snakes with thorns coiling on your head . . . weary and fearful, Godless monsters sinking poisonous spikes into your skull, Crimson fluid splatters all over, bathing your corpse, Be dead to the world; heed Marys lullabies . . . peace. III. Drown yourself in mud at the Cities of the Plain, Reincarnate God, and His omnipotence possess your golden strain, Feast upon the canon of sacred scriptures as a white dwarf, Feet bound by frozen nails, kiss with an insolent smile. IV. Lazarus whispers, you . . . concealed with death cloth That hauls out wisdom from our earthly shell loath, Arise, and feel the warmth of the peering rays over your eyelids, Shove the stone. Find light. Find freedom! Find peace.
