Music exists because it is not only a form

of entertainment, but it has the ability to

change lives.
If music changes lives, then it can also
change the world.
We should teach about the history and
fundamentals of music.

We should teach them the big names
in music, i.e. Bach, Mozart, Beethoven,
etc.
We need to provide learning
experiences that include performing
music (on instruments and singing) and
listening to and analyzing music.
The basis for a music curriculum are the
ten national standards.
If we can engage students in these
national standards, the curriculum we
adhere to should be (almost) universal.
