What did I expect this class to be like before the semester began?
In what areas do I feel I improved on? In what areas will I continue to work?
What skills or knowledge will I apply from 113B to my future classes?
If you could give advice to a new 113B student on how to succeed in their
writing class, what would you tell them?

My English 113B expectations
I expect this class to be hard and involve lots of
work before the semester began. Since last
semester I took CH S 113A as my English course
and it consist of many work, so I thought it would
be no different. I assumed my professor would be
harsh. Also expect it to be a small class and that
all my peers and I would get to know each others
names. I thought most assignments were going to
be essays and readings since it was English. Those
were my expectations I quickly thought it was
going to be hard, but it really wasnt so I was glad.
Things I improved and need to work on
English is a subject Im not that strong at.
Works cited is something I had trouble with, but I believe I mastered it.

I feel like I improved a bit on my writing, but still need to work on it more
to be better at it. There's that saying that practice makes perfect.

I really need to work on the grammar on my essays. To improve I need
to either read it out loud, have a friend revise it, or go to the LRC for
help.
Skills and knowledge I will apply to
my future classes

I will apply being prepare to class and ready to learn for all my future classes. Also have a positive
attitude because I wont success by having negative attitude. Attend the LRC often to get help with
anything that has to do with either math or English. Its a resource that will come in handy in the long
run. Getting my assignments done on time so it wont lower my grade. Lastly using my skill of
participating in class and being social and many more skills.
