1. Static Character vs. Dynamic Character
Static Dynamic

characters changes during the
course of the story
Experience changes throughout the
plot of the story. Al though the change
may be sudden, i t is expected based on
the storys events

Narrati ve Technique is how the story is
told. It includes 4 main elements:
1. Point of view - Who tells the story?
2. Narration - Who is the narrator speaking to?
3. Speech - How do the narrator and the characters of a story
speak?
4. Tense (Past, Present, Future) - When did the events of a story
happen?

cut in before or after a shot of the
