Resources website falls under NETS standard #3 for students because it provides in depth information for
students to use when attempting to learn and develop their skills toward a certain game or activity.
Students can visit the site and learn the rules and regulations before playing. The site also follows NETS

them the necessary tools. According to the NETS-T standards, teachers need to design and adapt relevant
learning experiences that incorporate digital tools, like this site, to promote student learning and
creativity. Primary Resources like these are tools that can be used throughout the school year and can be
replicated very easily. As students become more familiar with these lessons and games, adjustments can
be made to constantly stimulate young students development.

These YouTube videos are all from an author named PhysEd Games. This author specializes in physical
education activities and does a very good job of explaining each lesson. Each of these videos describes a
different game or activity that could be incorporated within elementary age physical education. Each of
the videos show a diagram of a typical P.E. gym and uses Xs and Os like a coaching clip board to
explain student movement. The author explains the rules and regulations of each activity and provides
suggestions for ways in which the games could be developed further to allow growth from the students.
These are all great tools for any physical education teacher because of their ease of use and clear
instructions of how the operate the games. Teachers can simply visit YouTube and look up PhysEd
Games videos of the many different games. From here, the teacher can pick which activity would best fit
his or her classroom and take any necessary notes they need to transfer the game from video to their
classroom. The selected videos contain many games that include the use of dodgeballs. Dodgeball has
been a very controversial issue within P.E. because many teachers feel it is a violent game, so those who
decide to use these videos would have to be careful about which games they pick. These videos fall under
the NETS standard #2 and #5 for teachers because they aid in the development of teaching materials and
curriculum. Also, these videos allow teachers to maximize the content they supply to their students. If
students need more time learning how a game is play, they can simply go to YouTube and look up the
games explanation. From here, students can increase the physical development by having the necessary
learning tools at their fingertips.
