Project Managers Report

that this will be the only part of the report read, so ensure an accurate and meaningful summary of the
project.

Review of Business Case

Validate whether the business case has been achieved both from a functional and benefits viewpoint
recognizing that some benefits may not be realized for some time after the project is implemented.

Review of Project Objectives

Review the project's performance against schedule, budget, quality, risk, etc. How well did the project
perform as compared to the baseline. A summary of the tolerances is often a key component of this
section of the report.

Review of Team Performance

Recognize the team's performance and what improvements can be made for the next project. Make
recommendations for specific team members requiring special recognition.

Lessons Learned
List all lessons learned including root cause and recommendations for avoiding mistakes and repeating
successes.
