E. Materials: Ppt. presentation, color coded cards and name tags. Stage 2. DETERMINE ACCEPTABLE EVIDENCE. 1.1 Students will engage in conversation with other students and the teacher. 1.2 Students will interpret spoken language. 1.3 Students will introduce themselves to the class 4.1 Students will demonstrate an understanding of the languages spoken and compare it to their own language. Stage 3. PLAN LEARNING EXPERIENCES. Activities: I will engage students in a pantomime exercise to review and practice previously learned material. A. Setting the Stage: I will present a Ppt. slide with the objectives for the day, will introduce myself and will greet the students in Spanish to engage in greetings and farewell informal conversations. B. Providing Input/Engaging the Learner: I will I will put a slide with the Spanish alphabet and ask students to repeat after me. I will then ask them to tell me the letters of their names or the vowels in the name. I will put the next slide with colors in Spanish and will ask students to tell me what color is their shirt, shoes or pants. C. Guided Participation: I will have students greet their partner. D. Extension: Students will work individually to color in boxes with their respective colors in Spanish. E. Informal Assessment: Students will work in pairs to do an informal activity to assess how much they have learned. (School subjects) F. Closure: I will tell students to review what they learned and come prepared for next class for it will be the day of the examination. Stage 4.
