Joe Sibilia

Joe Sibilia is the CEO of CSRwire, a digital media platform for the latest corporate social responsibility and sustainability news
for journalists, analysts, investors, activists, academics, public relations and investor relations professionals worldwide.
A trusted brand since 1999 for the latest news, views and reports on business sustainability as well as its members' most trusted

As a visionary of the socially responsible business movement, Joe was the founder and former CEO of Meadowbrook Lane
Capital (MBLC), described by the Wall Street Journal as a socially responsible investment bank specializing in turning values
into valuation. Through MBLC, he worked with a number of socially responsible companies and has been widely recognized for
his work in attempting to take Ben & Jerrys Homemade Ice Cream private, while creating a private stock exchange for
responsible companies.
Joe also founded the Gasoline Alley Foundation (www.gasolinealleyfoundation.org), a 501(c) 3, that has incubated over 50 small
businesses since 1985 and teaches inner city and/or underprivileged persons to become successful entrepreneurs using socially
responsible business practices while revitalizing inner city neighborhoods.
Joe wrote Street Smart Sustainability with coauthor David Mager, to show small and medium-sized companies how to go green
profitably. One of his proudest accomplishments is the publication of Sustained Innovation through Shared Capitalism and
Democratic Governance in the prestigious Journal of the British Interplanetary Society.

Videos: From watching a few interviews and presentations I found online, he seems like an OK speaker;
very emphatic and lots of hand gestures and self (CSRWire) promotion. It also seems as though
CSRWire does promote him as a speaker to some extent as there are several videos of his speaking
engagements on the CSRWire YouTube account, but that account hasnt been updated in 2 years. He
seems a little bit dormant in terms of public engagement,.
