Thermos flask

A thermos flask works by preventing forms of heat transfer. It prevents

conduction through the vacuum between the outside bottle glass and
inside layer of the flask. Heat cant be transferred through a vacuum with
no particles. It prevents radiation by having the inner side covered in a
shiny material. It also prevents convection through a tight lid.
