    PSYCHOLOGY

    ADVANCED SUPPLEMENTARY LEVEL

    AIMS
    This syllabus aims to provide candidates with an opportunity to:
    1. acquire a basic knowledge of psychological theories and research;
    2. consider the applications of this knowledge where appropriate; and
    3. develop skills of analysis and evaluation of psychological theories and
    research.

    THE EXAMINATION
    The examination will consist of one three-hour paper which will be divided into six
    sections. Candidates will be required to answer one out of two questions from each
    section. All questions will carry equal marks.

    THE SYLLABUS

    Refer to Paper 1 sections 1-6 (i.e. Paper 1 of the Advanced Level syllabus) and the
    Appendix of the Advanced Level syllabus.
