Pentru cei aflai la nceput de drum n genul portretistic al fotografiei, un sfat bun e mereu bine primit. i
cum recent am descoperit o serie de articole fix pe tema asta, iat mai jos un (prim) foto-ghid pe care vi l-
am tradus (Nota Bene) din englez i sper s v fie de folos:

Poziia 1.
Este probabil cea mai simpl poziie din portretistic ns ofer o perspectiv neobinuit, din cauza
unghiului diferit de vizualizare. De inut minte: privirea modelului este ndreptat spre fotograf, chiar dac
tu te roteti n jurul su.

Poziia 2.
n portretistic, de cele mai multe ori minile nu joac un rol dominant, ns aceast poziie ofer un
anume nivel de creativitate i deplasare de la tradiional. De inut minte: ncercai s oferii privitorului
doar muchia palmei. Evident, este loc pentru un joc al minilor n diferite poziii, pn se ajunge la
mesajul pe care vrei s l transmii ca fotograf.

Poziia 3.
Dei printre regulile nescrise ale fotografiei se numr treimea i liniile drepte, nu-i fie fric s
experimentezi cu diagonale. De inut minte: folosete cu ncredere minile modelului pentru a scoate n
eviden diagonalele.

Poziia 4.
O alt poziie clasic n portretistic, ofer o perspectiv interesant dac realizei fotografia de la un nivel
puin mai ridicat dect al modelului. De inut minte: genunchii trebuie s se ating pentru a crea senzaia
de continuitate.

Poziia 5.
O poziie uor de pus n practic indiferent de locul unde lucrezi. De inut minte: realizeaz fotografia de
la acelai nivel cu ochii modelului pentru a nu oferi o perspectiv distorsionat.

Poziia 6.
E o variaiune pe aceeai tem cu poziia anterioar, cu excepia faptului c prinzi n ntregime modelul n
cadru. De inut minte: poziie foarte bun pentru locuri outdoor cu iarb, flori i alte plante prin jur (de
preferat ct mai dese ca poziionare, spre exemplu un cmp de maci).

Poziia 7.
Dei este o poziie staionar, ca fotograf te poi juca cu unghiurile i te poi mica n jurul modelului. De
inut minte: te poi juca cu minile modelului astfel nct s prinzi cadre diferite ca i compoziie.

Poziia 8.
Poziie inversat fa de nr. 6, poate fi pus n practic i pe bnci, ziduri puin nalte et cetera. De inut
minte: focalizarea se face pe ochii modelului i, de preferat, cu un bokeh pronunat.

Poziia 9.
O poziie care ofer un aer de misterios, datorit faptului c modelul i acoper un ochi cu mna. De
inut minte: potrivit pentru fotografii pe plaj. Fotografierea se face de la nivelul solului, pentru a nu
distorsiona perspectiva.

Poziia 10.
O alt poziie potrivit pentru cadre la nivelul solului. De inut minte: de preferat, modelul s se uite n
orice alt parte dect obiectiv.

Poziia 11.
O variaiune pe aceeai tem ca i poziia nr. 10. De inut minte: rotete-te n jurul modelului pn prinzi
un unghi care s ofere continuitate. De asemenea, poate fi combinat cu poziia nr. 2.

Poziia 12.
Este o poziie potrivit pentru cei ce vor s scoat n eviden calitile fizice ale modelului. De inut
minte: o perspectiv interesant este oferit de lucrul n procedeul contre-jour.

Poziia 13.
Poziie simpl, prin care poi pune n eviden partea superioar a modelului. De inut minte: poi
experimenta cu minile i capul n diferite poziii, pentru a crea senzaii diferite privitorului.

Poziia 14.
Aproximativ aceeai poziie ca i cea anterioar, cu meniunea c minile stau orientate spre spatele
modelului. De inut minte: privirea modelului s fie orientat spre fotograf.

Poziia 15.
O alt poziie prin care scoi n eviden formele prii superioare a corpului. De inut minte: modelul
trebuie s stea puin aplecat n fa iar capul s fie orientat spre fotograf.

Poziia 16.
O alt poziie prin care pui n valoare calitile fizice ale modelului. De inut minte: privirea s nu fie
orientat spre fotograf.

Poziia 17.
Este poziia de baz n cadrele n care prinzi modelul n ntreaga nlime. De inut minte: o poi combina
cu poziiile de mai sus pentru a crea diversitate.

Poziia 18.
Poziie relaxant pentru model, care poate folosi un zid sau un arbore pentru a se sprijini. De inut minte:
piciorul ndoit este cel care este cel mai apropiat de punctul de fotografiere.

Poziia 19.
Poziie de baz atunci cnd lucrezi cu modele care au constituie astenic spre atletic. De inut minte:
corpul ia o form de S iar modelul i sprijin greutatea pe un singur picior.

Poziie similar cu cea anterioar, cu excepia gradului de ncadrare a modelului. De inut minte: poi
experimenta cu diverse poziii ale minilor i corpului.

Poziia 21.
Poziie care ofer spatele modelului i parial chipul. De inut minte: nu eti obligat s ari tot spatele
modelului, poi experimenta cu doar un umr dezgolit. De asemenea, poi folosi orice tip de mbrcminte
sau material textil pentru a acoperi modelul.

3K+This article is a sequel to the previous article about posing women. If you havent read it, I would
kindly recommend you to start with 21 Sample Poses for Photographing Women Part I, as basic principles
why and how to use these samples remains the same.
OK, lets continue.

1. Good starting pose. And very nice way to make the model slimmer. The model should push her chin
forward and tilt it slightly down while at the same time the shoulder up, but not too much! There should
definitely be a little gap between chin and shoulder.

2. Most often the best poses are the simplest ones. For female models supporting body on just one leg
and curving the body in an S shape is a simple starting rule.

3. Very beautiful way to utilize a wall or some object for a portrait pose. Model should gently touch a
vertical surface with her hands.

4. If your model has long falling hair, try showing them in motion. Ask her to quickly spin her head to a
desired position allowing the hair to continue the movement. You might want to experiment with different
shutter speeds to either capture or avoid a motion blur. These are usually very positive and rewarding
shots.

5. Suitable for sitting on a couch or in bed. In order to add some thematic depth, the model could hold a
coffee cup in her hands, maybe implying that she is warming her fingers.

6. A nice and cozy pose, very suitable for indoors with the model sitting on a couch.

7. Another variation for a model sitting on a couch.

8. Very nice looking casual pose for a model sitting on the ground. Try different shooting angles, for
example, move gradually around the model or change the shooting points height.

9. Sitting positions are not limited to casual shots. Dont be afraid to try some sitting poses also for more
formal shots.

10. According to some popular and commonly exploited body language rules, crossing arms and legs
means putting up some barriers etc. Even if such beliefs are widespread, it doesnt mean they are
correct. In pictures crossed arms on the chest dont send any subconscious signs or warnings at all!
Crossing arms and legs in all different ways is absolutely fine for people photography.

11. Not always your model needs to place hands somewhere specifically. It is absolutely fine to leave
them loosely by the sides. The same goes for legs, no exaggerations one leg supports the weight, thats
the only rule you need.

12. Just another sample for a full height shot you can use as a starting point. Thumbs or hands partly in
side pockets also work fine.

13. A very nice pose for summertime. Let her lose her shoes and ask her to walk slowly. Walk and take
your shots slightly from behind.

14. Hands behind the back, unusual but very open gesture. She might as well stand and support herself
against a wall.

15. Very easy and beautiful pose for a formal portrait. Model should turn a little bit sideways, head turned
slightly down and towards the camera.

16. Placing both hands on the waist is also a very photogenic pose. Works well both for half and full
height shots.

17. If available, some higher furniture or interior object might be helpful to place an arm on and slightly
support the body. This will create a formal but at the same time an open and positive posture.

18. Partly sitting on some object is another very nice pose. Works well indoors as well outdoors in a city.

19. An example of a feminine and fashionable pose for a full height picture.

20. Demanding pose, because indicating models movement is not easy. However, if done right, very
rewarding for trendy fashion or very elegant full height shots.

21. Lovely looking pose for the appropriate settings the model is supporting herself against some fence
or bridge railing or some similar object. Shooting from a side with a large aperture provides good
opportunities for a shallow depth of field with a nicely blurred background.
