SECURITY ALERT
ARMED ROBBERY
On May 27, 2014 at 1:50 a.m. as a student was walking home, she was the
victim of an armed robbery on the corner of W. 120 St and Claremont Ave. The
suspect, armed with a handgun, approached the victim from behind and threw
her to the ground. He stole her property and fled from the scene in a late model
four door Jeep, driven by an accomplice. The victim provided the following
description of the suspect: male, black, dark complexion, thin build, 56, dressed
in dark clothing, dark baseball hat, armed with a gun.
