2-Year Diploma Course in Sanskrit will be open to all those who have passed +2 (Intermediate) or
equivalent examination !he number o" seats available in this #ourse will be $% !he #ourse shall be o"

!he aim o" this #ourse is to make the learner a#quire basi# knowled(e in Sanskrit lan(ua(e and the
appropriate vo#abular& "or usin( it alon( with the knowled(e o" Sanskrit literature !he emphasis shall
be on written and spoken expressions as well) so as to develop the elementar& skills o" the lan(ua(e ie
listenin() readin( and writin(
!he #ourse will be o" two levels - Diploma level*I and Diploma level * II ea#h o" one &ear
duration o" a#ademi# #alendar +t the end o" ea#h &ear) there will be a ,niversit& examination I" a
student #ompletes and passes examinations o" the Diploma Course -evel-I and II) marksheet shall be
