To start a complete plan for the spoken presentation assessment task in
week 9.
TEACHING AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES
1. 08:30 Mark roll (5mins) How many words can you make by rearranging the letters in the word below: CITIZENSHIP
-only use the letters present
-looking for the longest word
- why do you think Ive picked this word?
Teacher to make the instructions explicit and communicate to students, then after marking roll
Students to complete activity independently and share the longest word they find and their suggestions for why I picked this word
2. 08:35 Learning objective (5mins)
After asking for longest word found, teacher to explain learning objective. Students copy down, and annotate presentation with speech/slides
3. 08:40 Model sample paragraphs and create a plan for the presentation (15 mins)
