Week 2 Vocab

Landforms - A specific geomorphic feature on the surface of the earth, ranging from
large-scale features such as plains,plateaus, and mountains to minor features such as
hills, valleys, and alluvial fans.
Ocean - a very large expanse of sea, in particular, each of the main areas into which
the sea is divided geographically.
Ecosystem - An ecosystem includes all of the living things in a given area, interacting
with each other, and also with their non-living environments.
Organism - An individual form of life, such as a plant, animal, bacteria, protist, or
fungus; a body made up of organs, organelles, or other parts that work together to
carry on the various processes of life.
