Objectives: Students will sketch different ideas for their poster of their New Deal program. They will draw different possibilities for their posters. Students will describe what will be in their poster and why.

Materials needed for this lesson plan iPad Poster board paper Color pens, crayons Glue Scissors
Teacher preparation/instruction Students activities/ assignments Step 1: Teacher will instruct one student from each group to get the iPads.
Step 2: Teacher will instruct the to open the app papers and start sketching out a plan for their poster. Teacher will give students 15 minutes to come up with an idea. After the 15 minutes teacher will stop groups.
a. While students work on the app paper. Teacher will get the paper colors, poster board out for students to come up and get.
Step 3: Teacher will instruct them to start creating four posters. One person from each group will come up and get material for their poster. a. Teacher will instruct the students they have to be able to explain and describe their poster in their film. Step 4: Teacher will go to each group Step 1: students will listen to instructions from the teacher. One person of the group will get the iPads and past them out to their group.
Step 2: Students will discuss and create a poster. They will write or draw their ideas on the app papers.
Step 3: Students will send one person of each group to get the material for their poster.
Step 4: Students will work and finish their posters for the remanding of the class period. When the teacher goes by they will explain what their posters will be about and the design. They will also explain to the teacher how they will engage and convince their audience. They will also show teacher who their target audience is.
