peckingatmewithsomuchenthusiasm,Ihadthefeelingthathewason

bobbinghishead.

Ibreathedheavily,thenturnedtheknob.Thedooropenedwithaloudand

andcreepysight.Ahumanheartwaspreservedinalargejar,floatinginclearjel.
CreaturesIhadneverbeforethoughtpossiblewerelayinginthecorner,dead.
Potionswereinbottles,sealedwithcorks.Agreengoopwasbrewingand
bubblinginalargepot.

A Normal Girl (or as normal as I can be)

Asyoumayhaveguessed,Ichosetotaketheelixir.Iknow,itsextremely
risky,butitsbetterthanbeingimprisonedforalloflifeandafter.Itookthe
potion,thankedherandtriedtopayher,butshewouldntexceptthegolden
watchthatIhadstolenincaseofemergencies.SoIleftwiththesamequestion
thatIhavehadinmymindeversincesheshowedmethepotion.Isitworthit?
Yesitwas.

Theclearpotionsliddownmythroat.Hmm.OddIttastedlikeevery
foodIhadevertasted.Youwouldthinkthatitwouldtastedisgusting,but
insteadittastedquitepleasant.Ifeltabitwoozy,andbeforeyouknewit,Ihit
thegroundinadeepslumber.
AsIslept,IdreamedtheweirdestdreamthatIvehadinalongtime,

justmaybe,thepotionhadworkedtoowell.Andmaybe,Ihadactually
becomeNo.Thatsimpossible.Thatcouldnever,neverhappencouldit?
No,nowtheraindropswerepouringthroughmeagain.Maybeitwasjustakick
startorsomething.Weird.
Now,tofindadecent,normaleducation,andsomethingnewtowear.
Nowthatstheproblem.Buttheproblemisthatforone,Idontknowmyway
