Fraud Investigation


On May 16, 2014, a check from To Be Encouraged Christian Ministry was deposited into a Wells
Fargo checking account by using an ATM at the Wells Fargo located at 400 Ashdale Court in
Kannapolis. The suspect then immediately withdrew $200.00 in cash from the same account. The
check was later determined to be fraudulent The attached photograph was captured during the
transactions at the Wells Fargo ATM.
Anyone having information regarding this crime is asked to call the Kannapolis Police Department at
