-The Americas Westward Expansion-

How does it feel to be punishing for something that you never did. Americans
justified their westward expansion by saying that We are the nation of progress, of
individual freedom, of universal enfranchisement (which means the right to vote).
Because of this they think that they have the ability to take the land. This was
announced by John O'Sullivan. To be ethical means to benefit. For example, if youre
doing something for the country, in order for it to be ethical, it has to benefit the country.
It has to do something good for the people country. Americas westward expansion was
unethical because there were many people who didnt benefit from it, and the
Annexation of Texas.
They were being removed for the country to be a better place to live in, but the
Native Americans didnt do anything wrong to be removed. They are going to be sent to
a land with people that they dont know. They didnt have enough food and water to
farm their new land. As it says in the Memorial of the Cherokee Nation The far greater
part of that region is beyond all controversy, badly supplied with food or water All our
neighbors would speak a language totally different from ours, and practice different
costumes The way the people treated the Native Americans was so bad that they
dont even give them food to eat. To get them to where they wanted them to be, they
dragged and forced a lot of the Native Americans to the place where they want them to
go. The Native Americans didnt benefit from westward expansion because they were
with people who when they want help finding ways to get back home, they cant ask
because they dont speak the language. Therefore it is unethical because the Native
American didnt benefit in living with a different culture.
The Mexicans are treated the Native Americans badly. The population is
declining and being forced to live in nasty areas. The Native Americans werent getting
the land legitimately and we are treating the Native Americans poorly. They immigrate
constantly, finding no one to prevent them, and take possession of the site that best
suits them without either asking leave or going through any formality other than that of
building their homes. Wretched settlements that between them do not number three

1845. The people treated them so bad that they make them sleep in nasty areas. Where
the people were (in their country) compare to the nasty area that they are at now, its
like a shame. The Americans are not getting the land legitimately. They are getting the
land like something they made with their bare hands. All of this took place in Texas.
The Annexation of Texas is leading to slavery growing. Annexing Texas was
really a wrong Idea. Its not going to benefit the country, what is the point of doing it. It
was increasing the slave rate of the country. The scene of Annexing Texas to the
united State is a plain Violation of the constitution, and as calculated and design by the
open declaration of its friends to uphold the interests of slavery This was found from
source #3. Because of the Annexation of Texas a lot of African American is now living
more badly. They are still slaving for the white people. They are now benefiting the
stuffs of the country. The African Americans are now getting alone with the white
people. The growth of slavery did not benefit everyone especially the African Americans
because its the African American that are being the servant for the whites. And some
people dont like that too.
People might say that the Annexation of Texas is ethical because they like
slavery. They might say that it is ethical because it help them to have a united country
where there are different cultures together. Even though that some people might think
that the Annexation of Texas is ethical, some people might also say that the Annexation
of Texas is ethical because they dont like people that are not their nationality. For
example if my friends are not Haitian I wont like them to be my friends. A lot of people
dont like hearing comment s about racism. Some people hate talking about slavery
maybe because they have someone that has been in that kind of situation. Some
people dont really like that because they might have someone that may die or is still in
this kind of situation. Some people may dont like talking about that because they dont
want their children hearing or know about that.
Americas westward expansion was unethical because there were many people
who didnt benefit from it, and the Annexation of Texas. The people wanted to move the
native Americans out of the country, but the Native Americans didnt do anything wrong
to deserve to be removed. We are really not treating the people right and we are not
getting the land legitimately. The Annexation of Texas was causing slavery growth to
increase. The growth of slavery is important is important because they dont want their
country to be as bad as other bad country. They want their country to benefit what they
do for the country. It matters if the United States acts ethical because they have to
follow the laws. A lot of people would want to leave the country if the things that the
president is doing for the country is not benefiting the country.
