A - WALKTHROUGH
INTRODUCTION
First,choose your gender, then name of the character you will control and begin his adventure from the

Learn Small Town:

+ Day Care Center:

you go to Fullmoon Mt.

This site has many stores, but most have been blocked by obstacles. Go to the cave in the middle where
you will find Cresselia. When approached, Cresselia will go but this is illusion, and it disappeared. A

ROUTE A. Only one other store in Mt Fullmoon ,you can go to, go in and play with Rival (Brendan / May)

This place is quite small, only 1 Pokemon Center (When your pokemons do not have enough health to
combat they will restore back to the nearest computer, but not this place and so will their master).
There is an entrance to the forest on this route, which is the entrance to Polar FOREST but now it has
been guarded by Team Magma.
Walk a little, you will see Prof. Birch is trying to chase you. he has a little mistake while putting up the
Pokdex for you and will help you upgrade it into a National Dex.

If you have a National Dex Pokemon caught in another game you can trade right from now. Note the
trade with the emulator VBA (topic guide included in box Tutorial :) you need to shop at the same time
in both two machines then, trying to adjust after two characters in the two machines at the same time.
Note that if you trade Pokemon then the high levels will not listen to you if you do not have enough
badge requirements.
Specifically:
Badge 2: Pokemon from lvl 30 or less will hear you.
Badge 4: lv50 or lower.
Badge 6: Lv 70 or less.
Badge 8; they all listen to you.
Now you can train Pokemon, or go right to Route B.

Dialga VS Giratina
Right into the village, you will see FLASH. The weather here is very chaotic, FLASH will lead
you to a place where two Pokemons are fighting. That's Dialga and Palkia - 2 legendary
pokemon. The homes were blocked by rocks. Talk to FLASH and a large shocks will occure
from the two Pokemons' battle. It will blast you to the Torn World.
In Torn World, you'll meet a stranger pokemon, which is Shaymin, Shaymin's inhalation of toxic
gases and creating explosions take you back to the real world.

You will reappear in a strange house. When going out you will see a small canyon and Flash
appear, she will explain to you what has happened and you hear your encountering Shaymin at
the Torn World. She will also introduce her house to you and you can come here anytime. When
you find out the weather is back to normal, you can visit other places in Mystic Town.

Learn Mystic Town
- Outside the front yard of Flash lies TM 17 Protect. The strange shaped water has a Mystic

Celebi statue
Right near the entrance you will see a statue of Celebi. They have built this statue to
commemorate the merits of Celebi. Celebi was already fighting for the rain forest before. Please
note that because later you will probably encounter Celebi here.!?!

Honey Tree
You should see a Honey Tree in the upper right to the forest, you can catch Pokemon on the tree
if there is Honey but now the entrance was blocked by two small trees (you need to Cut through
it). Remember to come back later. There will be detailed instructions after you have all the
conditions to catch Pokemon at this place.

Headbutt Tree
There is a rather large tree near the end of the forest, you can bring a Pokemon that knows
Headbutt (or later, you can buy to teach TM 5 Headbutt to Pokemon). Pokemons on the tree will
not be found in the common places, using Heabutt here you can catch: Hoothoot, Slakoth,
Emonga and Heracross. Emonga and Heracross encounter rates have relatively lower chance.

Visiting the Bee-Bug Forest
There are 5 trainers in these woods. From the entrance you should find the right way, this way
the tree is relatively small and obscure, it lies just below the Honey Tree (see picture to go
straight in the direction of the arrow). Also note that with a girl above will help you to restore
your Pokemon, she also revealed to you that you can catch Combee at Honey Tree. Remember
then, Combee can only be caught by this unique Honey Tree(as mentioned above and now you
have not caught)

There is a small lake in the middle of forests, later after learning Surf, it makes the route

There is a house at the end of this route which is Pretty petal Flower Shop. 3 people in this shop.
A woman will sell you these flowers to decorate your Secret Base beautifully, but with two
conditions that you have a talk with her first, second is to have the 3rd Gym Badge. Others will
give you a Wailmer pail used to water the berry you plant, the rest will give you each day a
different type of berry.
There are also some berry outside if you want you can take them.
Go down further south and you will come to Platepics City.

<<<PLATEPICS CITY>>>

As soon as you go into the city, a scientist running scared asks for your help because Team
Magma is disturbing their research centers and the Gym Leader is absent here. The city now has
many Team Magma members. But before you kick them restore your Pokemons in the Pokemon
Center.

Learn Platepics City
- There are three way to go out from Platepics City streets if you have come from Route D. You
may go the left side road to explore, but you won't be able to explore much because you have not
gotten the flash technique. Because the guide will arrange the order to advance in short and
reasonable time the side tracks will be temporarily avoided and not to mention the nearby route.
(of course they will be mentioned and explored later when the time comes)
- Now time to go to the houses here. Upper left has a Trainer City School, you can learn a few
things here and get Quick Claw from the teacher.
- In the house next to the station in the North (Route D) will be a Move Tutor who teaches your
Pokemon rollout. Upstairs will have a boy, talk to him and you can trade a Growlithe for Pineco.
Traded pokemon will gain experience faster than normally caught Pokemon.

- The house in the northeast of the city is the Name Rater's, where you can change the nickname
of your Pokemon.

IX. BUGS AND GLITCHES
1/ Still have some grammar mistakes.
2/ Some glitches while you're decorating in the secret base.
3/ When you rematch the E4 (higher level), the vs bar only show Cynthia.
4/ The PokeNav and some moves display wrong informations.
5/ Bag Egg/Invisible thing in PC Box: Sometimes you will have this bug when use PC Storage. That's
also a common Emerald's bug. Maybe because you used many cheat codes...You should release the
invisible thing in PC box and don't check it. With Bad Egg don't try to hatch it, back up your save file and
don't use any cheat are some good ways. A Bad Egg may be in Day Care if you have only one Pokemon
there. Check the Day Care again. There is another way to get rid of them by use a DMA + clean Pokemon
code. Search google or youtube. After that, remove all codes and save again.
6/The game may freeze (rarely) when you battle some Trainers in Battle Tent. If you get this problem.
Reset the game and continue. (you have to save before enter the battle Tent so don't worry your save will
be lost)
7/ Save corruption: That's Emerald Rom's problem. Make sure you changed the save type to Flash 128K
and check the Real Time Clock. (Delete or move any save file .SAV of the rom first). If you change Save
type but don't move the old save file, you may meet this problem again.
