population.
Created, maintained and followed through on Individual Education
Programs for all students on my caseload.

Worked with up to 22 students in a transient population with diverse needs
including learning disabilities, wide achievement gaps and poor attendance.
Focused on improving the students ELA and math capabilities to the
proficient level for standardized testing. After 26 academic weeks, 8
students had grown a full year in their reading skills. In that same time
frame, 5 students raised their math abilities from below grade level to grade
level.
Developed daily leveled lessons to meet the needs of all students, ranging
from kindergarten to 6

Created and implemented a health curriculum covering: healthy life skills
(diet, exercise, sleep, etc.), allergies & alternative meal plans, basic and oral
hygiene for students with special needs grades K-3.
Established daily-individualized lessons for each student, working with a
range of ability levels from nonverbal and physically handicapped to
specific learning disabilities in the areas of reading and math.

Co-led a physical enrichment program where students walked or ran a mile
loop around the school on Friday afternoons for a total of 4 weeks. Students
were encouraged to participate in healthy recreational activity and
introduced good exercise habits such as stretching before and after and
drinking water.
Developed and taught a literature enrichment program to increase awareness
of fictional characters. Student activities included theme-based crafts,
creative play and researching pirates/fairies in literature.
