Survey of Project

Through interaction with Mr Manish Bhardwaj we came with the following requirements

o Online registration for Students/Faculty/HOD.
o Managing attendance of students/faculty. This attendance management is the core part of
Student MIS system. This data helps in making aware the student the consequences of
regular bunking classes.
o Providing E- MATERIAL for students. If any student gets absent on a particular day he
can get the lecture notes and other edu- material through the system
o Generating Reports for every small detail. Since reports provide the jest of MIS system
they should automatically generate.
o SMS/MAIL sending for notifying important information. It is very difficult to transfer
every information to all the students of a class so to do so sms would be send on their
personal mobile no to make them updated.
o Passwords will be sent to their respective mails.
o Verification of Student/Faculty details.
o File transfer between various faculty members, faculty and students
o Administrator/HOD controls all department queries.
o Online interaction of HOD, faculty, Students. If a student is shy to ask doubts in a
session. He/She can post queries on the site.


o Student can request to provide services for problems relating to Classrooms/Tute
rooms/Laboratories like electrician, sweeper and cleaner to the HOD.
o To make the student more interacted with the faculty member or to add a bit of Human
attachment, Birthday Reminder feature would be added. Since through this the student
will become more interactive and can discuss his/her problems with the faculty. He could
be counseled in a better way.
o User friendly interface and easy intake of user need.
o E-mail facility would be there for students.
o Student comments would be verified first than only it would be displayed.
o On short attendance, letters will be sent to parents automatically as an email or in the
form of hardcopy.
o Students will be notified on time for various activities.
