Assignment 1: Goal Setting Chart

Outcomes
After completing this assignment, students will be able to:
Analyze pre-assessment results to determine appropriate learning goals.
Self-reflect on strengths and weaknesses.
Propose plan for self-improvement.
Overview
In this assignment, you will analyze your pre-assessment results to determine your areas of
strength and weakness. You will complete a graph to show your results and to record your goals for
this unit of study.
Instructions
1. Analyze: Carefully study the results of your pre-assessment for this unit. Determine what
you already know and areas that you need to improve as this unit is being covered.
2. Record: Use the linked chart below to record your results from your pre-assessment. Type
in your pre-assessment grade and use the shading tool to color in your pre-assessment
grade.
3. Goal: Using the same chart determine where your post-assessment goal score should be.
Type your goal in the yellow shaded box at the top.
4. Areas of Improvement: Finally, describe what you will do to fulfill the goal you set for
yourself. These can be implementations, remedies, or strategies.
