EXPLANATION FOR PUNCHING SHEAR

1) You will give the column sizes to us.

2) We will design the required pt slab.
3) Punching shear will be taken care in the design by the software itself as per
the code ( .25 under root fck )

And accordingly the software gives the rebar details.

if the rebar is more and we do not want to provide more rebars then,

(a) then to increase the concrete grade

(b) or to increase the slab thickness

(c ) or to increase the column sizes.
