Blast from the Past
The Last Obedience Trials for 2010 were held last week Judged by
Mr. Neil Mac-Donald. 20 competitors from both Broken Hill and
Interstate Competed.
Saturday night saw a pleasant start for Utility before, wind, thunder
and lightning, rain and even hail pelted down on the Open and
Novice competitors before settling down for the CCD competitors.
Sunday morning was an early start at 8am for an egg and bacon
Breakfast before the trials commenced. The weather was perfect for
all competitors and their dogs. After the trials, lunch was provided
for every-one.
Irene Doberzynski and other travellers would sincerely like to thank
the Obedience club for the lend of the shed. I would like to thank
the club for the use of the shed so we didn't have to haul the kennels
to the car and back.

conditions.
On Friday night, approximately twenty members of the obedience
club attended a dinner at the Demo club to prepare for a fantastic
weekend. The dinner was enjoyed by all with great service and many
conversations between our members.
On Saturday night, six trialling dogs entered the ring in the classes of
UD, CD and CCD. In CCD, Barry Colley and Max passed, earning their
CCD title. At the completion of the trial, the club was greeted with a
scrumptious dinner of
steak and kebabs with
salad.
Sunday morning saw a
much more successful
trial for our club.
Breakfast was the usual
bacon and egg rolls with
OJ and coffee which was
