Justification for grade awarded:
1.1 - Kendall has produced a detailed floor/flow plan that accurately describes the
accommodation and resources to be used. She has also produced a schedule with timescales
identifying in which order equipment would be set-up that reflects the requirements of the event.
Kendall followed correct procedure working as part of team setting up the sound reinforcement
equipment for the school Eisteddfod, a large-scale event held in Bryngwyn School in March.
She demonstrated a good awareness of potential hazards in terms of human safety and safe
care and usage of equipment.
1.2 & 3 Kendall carried out sound checks with all available performers prior to the event
starting, which included micd performers and DId instruments. Kendall recorded the live mixes
and safely and efficiently dismantled the PA system ensuring all equipment was accounted for.
1.4 - Kendall demonstrated good evaluation skills when considering the success of the PA set-
up, identifying her strengths and areas for development.
