Achilles and the tortoise paradox, I see only as a lesson in possible traps one must be cautious off,

namely in this instance using false premises.


The false premise that is asserted in this apparent paradox is that Achilles must not progress from
any stated point that the tortoise has reached, until the tortoise has progressed on to his next
movement. This could only be so if Achilles progressively slowed down, breaking the first
assumption that they are both travelling at constant velocity.
In other words this makes Achilles movement dependant on the movement of the tortoise, which is
an obvious fallacy
