1' PRPOS# / TUJUAN
+his procedure is for the purpose of training ne0 boom truck operators and
refresher training of e1perienced operator.
Prosedur ini bertujuan untuk melatih para operator boom truck yang masih baru
dan sebagai penyegaran bagi operator yang sudah berpengalaman.
2' S!OP# / RUANG LINGKUP
+his procedure applies to all operators of the isu2u boom truck at Leighton pro3ect
sites.
Prosedur ini dipergunakan oleh semua operator isuzu boom truck di lokasi proyek
Leighton.

.'1 )enera1 / Umum
All (su2u Boom +ruck operators must hold a valid Leighton license before operating
the truck at LC( pro3ect sites. Also as an additional safety re5uirement, they must
hold valid a police license for operating heavy plant " e5uipment.
Semua operator boom truck Isuzu harus memiliki SI Leighton sebelum
mengoperasikan truk tsb dilokasi Leighton. !uga sebagai persyaratan Sa"ety,
mereka harus memiliki SI Polisi sebelum mengoperasikan peralatan # kendaraan
berat.
+he &afety 6 +raining Manager or a nominated person7s8 shall be responsible for
ensuring that all boom truck operators employed for Leighton have valid certificates.
+he %ro3ect &afety 6 +raining Manager or a nominated person7s8 0ill perform the
test.

.'2 Pre Start Wa1k $roun2 Inspection & Pemei!saan Ke"i"in# Se$e"um
Pen#o%easian
. Check all fluid levels including fuel, hydraulic, brake and oil.
Periksa level semua cairan termasuk bahan bakar, hidrolik, minyak rem.
$. Check radiator for loose bolts and any leaks. (f the engine is still hot, do not
loosen the radiator cap to check the coolant level as it can cause serious in3ury.
Periksa baut'baut yang longgar dan kebocoran pada radiator. Kalau mesin
masih panas, jangan melonggarkan tutup radiator untuk memeriksa tingkat
pendingin karena akan mengakibatkan kerusakan "atal.
*. (nspect the engine compartment for oil, coolant and fuel leaks.
Periksa minyak kompartemen mesin, coolant dan kebocoran bahan bakar.
,. Clean and check all lights for broken bulbs or bad 0ires.
)ersihkan dan periksa semua lampu dari kerusakan bola lampu atau ka%at yang
putus.
5. Check cab for loose bolts, broken 0indo0s or other damage to the cab.
Periksa baut'baut yang longgar pada kabinet atau kerusakan lainnya pada
kabinet.

comfortable position 0hile operating machine.

. &ecure the rear boom and front cable 0inch and cab control.

$. %ut boom on rest and secure the sheave block to avoid s0inging 0hile vehicle is
in motion.

*. @nsure area around e5uipment is clear before leaving inspection area and no
one is behind or near e5uipment prior to moving and give clear and loud signal.
'hen moving give t0o horn blasts to move for0ard, and three blast to move in
reverse. %roceed 0ith caution, stay alert and observe speed limit.

*. %lace outriggers in position using proper footing material.
Letakkan outrigger pada tempatnya dengan menggunakan material pijakan
yang tepat.
,. %lace 0arning sign on door to cab.
Letakkan tanda peringatan dipintu kabinet.
5. %lace tyre chocks in plate, t0o in front and t0o in rear.
Letakkan tyre chock pada piringannya, dua didepan dan dua dibelakang.
.. /emove control lock plate and engage rear hydraulics by shifting control to
the left and back.
Pindahkan kontrol lock plate dan pasang hidrolik belakang dengan
mendorong kontrol kekiri dan belakang.
;. -perate the boom in a reasonable and safe manner. Be sure the rigger is
clear at all times. Do not overload, use slings and hooks 0ith safety latch or
clevis.

$. #nhook secured cable chain hook and set properly for release.
Lepaskan kabel dari kaitnya dan atur dengan baik.
*. Activation of the 0inch to release cable9
Pengakti"an kerek untuk embebaskan kabel(
,. Disengage motor drive 0ith safety shift in neutral.
Lepaskan motor drive dengan tuas kontrol pada posisi netral.
5. Ad3ust accelerator to lo0est point.
Sesuaikan akselerator ke tingkat yang terendah.
.. %ush clutch in and ensure foot is placed on pedal firmly and securely for
positive control.
Injak kopling dan pastikan kaki anda berada pada pedal dengan kuat dan
aman untuk mengendalikannya dengan baik.
;. %ull control shift directly back to engage.

Dorong tuas kontrol langsung ke depan untuk mematikan.
*. )eep cable directly in line of cable drum and ob3ect being handled. Do not
cross cable over support braces or force drag over stationary frames.
!agalah agar kabel tetap berada dijalurnya pada drum kabel dan pada obyek
yang sedang anda tangani. !angan menyilangkan kabel diatas alat
penunjang atau menarik dengan paksa diatas bingkai stationary.
,. #se proper signals and ensure everyone is clear before activating 0inch in
either direction.
-unakan signal yang benar dan pastikan tidak ada orang disekitar sebelum
mengakti"kan kerek kearah manapun.
5. &ecure cable after task has been completed to prevent cable from falling
onto road0ay 0hen vehicle is in motion.
*mankan kabel setelah selesai bertugas untuk mencegah agar kabel tidak
jatuh dijalan pada saat kendaraan bergerak.
