What is Photosynthesis?

Photosynthesis is how plants make their food. The chloroplasts in plant cells
trap sunlight with a chemical called chlorophyll. The chloroplast uses water and
carbon dioxide with the sunlight to make glucose and oxygen that is released in the
air. The plants need six carbon dioxides and six waters. The sunlight is used to mix
the carbon dioxide and water to make the glucose and oxygen. The chemical
equation for this process is:

What is &espiration?
&espiration is the process plants use to release their energy so that they can
make repairs on their cells. The cells use the food and oxygen that the plant made
through photosynthesis for respiration. The food 'glucose( mixes with the oxygen
and creates a chemical reaction in which energy is released. The carbon dioxide and
water that is left is used in photosynthesis to make the sugar and oxygen needed to
respire again. The chemical equation for this is:
