Speech:

-I chose this topic because was related to the carrer aeronautic engineer that I wanted to study,
wanted because today I dont want it, but we are going to talk more about it at the end of this
speech.
-My thesis statement was: There are many ways to fly, but not all of them are safe for people. I
chose this thesis because I was thinking about which topic to select that was related to the carrer,
and suddenly I remembered about the accident with the zeppelins a long but long time ago, so I
decided to do my research paper about accidents with flying machines, and that thought carried
me to the topic that not all of the ways to fly were safe for people.
-What I knew about the topic was some accidents with flying machines, the first flight, and the
first tries of flying done by men, also about some inventions from Leonardo Da Vinci, and some
stories that I hear in my childhood.
-Now I know more about how some parts of an airplane works, and more about the velocity and
the limitations that a flying machine has, and how some flying industries had been lost because of
accidents, which are the safest ways to fly and which are the worst.
-My experience writing this research paper was that thanks to it, now I know that I dont want to
study aeronautics, because it gave me an idea of how was going to be the carrer, and I did not like
it, so it was a kind of help for me to choose other carrer.
-As a conclusion, maybe this research paper was not about my carrer, but it helped me to think
about my future, and helped me a lot in other stuff, because now I know which the safest ways to
fly are and which are not.
