6 GREETINGS
Dear Friends,
As you may know, The Jerusalem Film Center is home to the Israel Film Archive, which has been responsible
for the preservation of Israeli fiction, documentary, and experimental cinema for the past 30 years; The
Jerusalem Cinematheque, which offers the best of Israeli and international cinema all year round; and
the Jerusalem International Film Festival, the prestigious cinematic event that takes place every summer.
We are proud to curate this catalogue which presents up-to-date information about the feature and
documentary films that have been produced in Israel over the past twelve months. The following information
has been gathered by the staff of the Jerusalem Film Centers resource center and with the cooperation of
film funds, producers, and filmmakers throughout Israel. Were hopeful that this annual service will provide
a broad and in-depth picture of what is happening in Israel in the field of feature and documentary cinema.
As you will see, it represents the fascinating and high-quality array of Israeli cinema in full creative bloom.
Yours,
Lia van Leer Noa Regev
Founder and President Director
Jerusalem International Film Festival

Dear Filmmakers, Buyers, and Distributors,
The Israeli film industry has known an unprecedented burst of creativity in the last decade. The Rabinovich
Foundation for the Arts, in association with the Recanati Foundation, has had the privilege of being a part
of these wondrous years, supporting a major part of the Israeli full-length feature films, documentaries, TV
dramas, student graduation films, and experimental films produced. Both funds have been operating the
Cinema Project since 1988, within the framework of the Rabinovich Foundation and under its management. The
project is independently funded and supported by the Cultural Administration at the Israeli Ministry of Culture
and Sport and the Israel Film Council.
We believe this catalogue is a vital and necessary tool for aiding the distribution of the great variety of Israeli
films produced here in the recent year. We recommend it to every filmmaker, buyer, distributer or enthusiast
as a means for searching for Israeli films that are relevant to them, and also as a way of receiving an overall
impression of the dynamic Israeli film industry.
Kind regards,
Giora Einy
Director General
The Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts

Dear Friends,
The Cultural and Scientific Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is proud to be a partner, for the
fourth year in a row, in the publishing of the annual catalogue of Israeli cinema 2013-2014 by The Jerusalem
Cinematheque and Film Festival.
This catalogue of modest dimensions contains all the necessary information about the Israeli films in their
various genres that were produced during the past year, in addition to vital information about the key
elements of the Israeli cinema scene. The catalogue is user-friendly for readers both in Israel and abroad.
We at the Foreign Ministry found the two previous catalogues to be efficient and useful tools and very helpful.
We expect this current catalogue, which will be sent to Israels diplomatic missions abroad, to be no less
promising. Being entrusted with disseminating Israels culture around the world, we consider the catalogue to
be a vital tool in our efforts to further that goal.
We congratulate The Jerusalem Cinematheque for its initiative and for its successful production, and we hope
that this important catalogue will grow in content and in scope from year to year, as will its readership.
Sincerely,
Vered Heller, Head of the Cinema Section
Uri Amitai, Cultural and Scientific Affairs Division
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
GREETINGS
Dear Film Community,
The Israel Film Center at the JCC in Manhattan is the leading supporter of Israeli films in the United States and
aims to raise the profile of Israeli films within the American film industry as well as the general public of film lovers.
The Israel Film Center is home to a major on-line database of Israeli films that caters to the American public,
as well as a popular online streaming site (www.israelfilmcenterstream.org) giving access to Israeli films, new
and old, from the comfort of one's home in North America only. We also launched a new film festival of Israeli
films that will take place annually in New York City, celebrating the best new Israeli films.
This catalog serves as a major source for our work and information for our database. We hope you will take a
moment to update your films on our website: www.israelfilmcenter.org and make use of all the tools we provide
to help filmmakers reach the public.
Every year we are delighted to see such an abundance of creativity coming out of the Israeli film industry and
highlighted in these pages. We look forward to further organize and share the information presented by this catalog.
The Jerusalem Film Festival and Cinematheque pave the way for the Israeli film industry to enter the international
market. We look forward to many years of fine Israeli premieres at the Jerusalem Film Festival.
Yours,
Isaac Zablocki
