BANG- Instructions with game


Efface-Le- Write the numbers 1-10 or 10-20 on the board. Have two
students race up to erase the number you have called out in French.
Bataille Navale- Battleship instructions with game
Large board games-Clothing SORRY game/Ma famille/Mon
alimentation.
Around the world- Start at one side of the room and have two students stand beside
each other. Hold up a number and the first student to say the number moves on to challenge the next
student.

Memory- Lay all cards face down and one at a time pick two cards. If they
are a pair the player keeps the cards but if they are not the player put them back
where they picked them up. The winner is the one with the most pairs.

Heads up 7 up-This is done the same way as the original game but we
use vocabulary pictures to guess who picked the studentEach student holds a
picture of a school supplyThe Students who were picked should sayLa

Les Dominos- Instructions are in the bag
Les Bandeaux- Using the Guess Who template the students put the
persons name on their head using a head elastic. The student must ask questions
to try and determine who they are. Ex. Est-ce que jai les cheveux bruns?
Quest-ce que tu manges? Instructions are on the bucket of plastic
food
ZUT!- Students pull out a question and answer it in French. If they respond
correctly then they keep the card if they dont the card goes back in the pot. If a
student draws a ZUT! Card the student must put all their cards back in the pot
(keep the zut card out) Once all the cards are gone the players add up their
points (in the corner) The winner has the most points.
ZIP ZAP ZUT- Whole class game. Make teams and they roll the Zut! Dice
(notebook file) if they answer the question correctly they get the points rolled for
their team. If they get ZUT then all points are erased.
Guess Who? One student is it and the other students ask questions to
determine who the person is that they have secretly chosen.
Dans mon sac decole- Each player chooses 5 school item pictures to
place under the back pack. Each player asks each otherEst-ce que tu as un
crayon dans ton sac? Ect. Once a player has figured out the 5 items they win.
Une Phrase Secrete- Using the template (a list of 10 people, 10 items
and 10 places) a student chooses 1 person, 1 item and 1 place to create a phrase.
The rest of the players must try to guess what the sentence is by eliminating what
it is not.
Bazinga-Group game. A question is drawn and if the group can answer it
they get to draw a Bazinga card and do what the card saysex. Dance the YMCA
song
Jeopardy- Whole class game
Banana Grams- Start by forming one word using the tiles then the next
player will form a word that connects onto that wordsimilar to scrabble without
the points. (There are also other variations on the instructions in the game)
Students can use the vocabulary books.
Fly Swatter Slap- Make two teams. Lay the pictures face up on the floor
then choose two students to come up. Give each student a fly swatter. Call out
one of the vocab. pictures and the first player to swat the picture wins a point for
their team.
Un Bonhomme Bizzare- Roll two dice and draw the corresponding
body part of the monster. (Ex. You roll a 1 and a 4 a head is the #1 body part but
you have to draw 4 of them)
TIC TAC TOE- Draw a tic tac toe board on the white board. In each square
put a number between 1-20. Make two groups then in order for them to place an
X or an O they need to say the number.
Trouve moiHave two students come to the front Teacher calls out
Trouve moiun crayonect the first student to point to that item wins a point
for their team.
Je lai!! Make 4 groups. Give each group some vocab pictures. The first
group to bring you the picture you call for wins a point. They must say Je laiI
have it!!
Le Theatre de 5 phrases- With the students come up with 5
sentences. Put the students in groups and they must come up with a skit but the
only 5 sentences they are allowed to say are the 5 you came up with as a class.
Otherwise they act out what they want to say. Give them 10-15 min to prepare.
BINGO- There are different bingo cards for different units we are studying.
Decrire limage- Students pick a simple picture and hide it so the other
players cant see it. The person who has the picture must describe it to another
play and that player draws it on the board. When they are done the player with
the picture conpares it to the picture drawnvery funny!
