    This document provides instructions for using a Moodle course template to quickly create a new Moodle course. The template allows inputting course data and activities on the first two sheets and customizing settings and due dates on other sheets. Users are instructed to save the template file as moodle.xml, compress it to a zip file, and then either upload it to their Moodle filespace or email it to an administrator to restore and use to create a new course.

    INSTRUCTIONS
    Welcome. This template will help you create a Moodle course more quickly than selecting activities by
    navigating through web pages.
    In a Moodle course, click the restore option, select your uploaded file, and use it to create a new course. If you can't
    find the menu, ask an administrator to do it for you.
    Upload your zipped file to your Moodle filespace or email it to an administrator.
    Compress moodle.xml as a .zip file (once zipped it can be renamed something sensible like M101.zip)
    Save the resulting page as moodle.xml
