Activity A: The following words are often used to talk about negotiating. Match each word
to the correct definition:

Activity C
1. Use one of your favourite search engines, such as google.com or yahoo.com, to find a
negotiator from your home country, the USA and another country of your choice.
2. Look for answers to the following questions: Who are/were some of the worlds best
negotiators and negotiations? Are there differences in the way these negotiators argue?
What different styles do they use? What characteristics make them such good
negotiators?
3. Use your answers to make a presentation about these negotiators and deliver a five-
minute speech.
4. Present your speech to the class and be prepared to answer questions about the
negotiators you chose.
