*Manning Level:

Manning Level means the allocation of manpower required to perform a certain job. The calculation
of Manning Level requires concepts of SMV (you already know about it) and BPT.




*BPT:
Basic Pitch Time (BPT) is the per head time contribution to the SMV of a job or a series of jobs.



*Operation Bulletin:
Operation Bulletin is a chart that contains all the operations sequentially along with their Machine
Types, SMVs, Productivities, Theoretical Manning Levels, Practical Manning Levels, etc.

Capacity Study:
The study to evaluate the capacity of a worker while performing his/her job under existing working
condition. Normally the capacity is estimated on five cycle times.
