Game featured in National Geographic Channel. In this episode, data scientist and host Jake
Porway explores how anyone can grow a bank account through entertaining experiments, cutting
edge facts and real-life scenarios. He gives the numbers and clues to odds through the use of
Million Dollar Formula tricks of making a million possible and further tackles failure,
procrastination and napping will not stop anyone who desires from becoming a millionaire.
The ideas presented in this film is about taking paths or ways in making a million dollar
and that is building an EQ (Emotional Quotes), thinking out of the box, owning negotiations
skills by never quoting the figure first as well as delaying the decision to gather more
information and being ready to walk out. Also being adaptable and ready to perform under
difficult situations is another way. In addition, overcoming failures by trying again and again
which reminds me the thought of persistence is the key to success. Another is embracing power
naps and procrastination suggesting the delay of the decision until you get all the facts right. I
should say I can relate to ideas presented in this film by spreading my investments through
providing a solution to the problems the data reveals.
In my point of view, this film is a very informative show putting an impression for me a
good analysis of human thinking and also inspirational. This show is a lot more like a science
show as well as a show about data. The show tries to make the latest statistics accessible to a
wide audience of people who may just be dipping their toes in to this new world of data. "The
Numbers Game" is dissecting how people can used data to live healthier, happier and more
successful lives. I highly recommend this film because the show looks to shine light and give a
practical approach to how people can adopt data making it fun and accessible.
