marks the 25th anniversary of the death of our brother, Chief Steward,
Gerry Horgan. The NYNEX four-month strike over health care benefits was just two weeks old

with her car while breaking
through a picket line.
You know the reasons why we wear RED on -rhursdays-It signifies the
blood shed; it's the common bond of past struggles for the benefits you
enjoy today. '
We are confronted by Gerry's memory;
We are called by Gerry's strength;
And we are challenged by Gerry's sacrifice to stand united as ONE.
We ask you to please show respect by standing for 2 minutes in memory of our brother Gerry.
We ask that you stand for all who in past fought so that we have a better life.
Abraham Lincoln stated "The strongest bond of human sympathy outside the family relation
should be one uniting working people of all nations and tongues and kindreds.}} This is the
bond our fallen brother Gerry Horgan created.
