VIP family of rapid tests are patented, technically advanced
lateral flow immunoprecipitate assays for the detection of food
pathogens. Each VIP test is totally self-contained. All the reagents
have been systematically incorporated into the test device. There
are no reagents to add; no incubation required after sample
enrichment; no complicated steps to follow and no equipment to
buy or maintain.

A VIP test is simple to perform and gives fast, accurate results. The
proprietary VIP reagent system includes an antibody-chromogen
complex, ensuring a high level of sensitivity and specificity.VIP tests
for Salmonella, Listeria, and E. coli O157:H7 have been validated under
the rigorous requirements of the AOAC Official Methods program
and have proven to be sensitive and specific.

The Science Behind the VIP test
VIP tests are accurate and convenient methods for screening pathogens in food and environmental samples.
This is because behind each VIP test is advanced science patented by BioControl.

VIP for Salmonella. This innovative single-use test for Salmonella has been validated with three
