M.Sc. Project: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in Brain Tumor
 Analysis

AIM: Each pixel of MRI scan image (256x256) has intensity and parameters
associated with it. At each pixel one has to minimise the value of parameter so
that relation between intensity and parameters is satisfied. It enhances the
appearance of Tumor in Raw data images.
Work details:
• MRI Raw Data, skull images of patients, were taken from Sanjay Gandhi
Institute of Medical Science, Lucknow.
• Codes are written in C language. With Visual Studio.NET (for C compiler)
and IMAGEJ (for raw data visualization) Software, parameters is minimised
using optimisation techniques, like Newton Raphson method.
• Numerical Recipe in C is used for applied Matrix solvers for further
computation of concentration of contrast agent inducted in body.

Data Analysis Skills

• Regression and Time Series ARIMA Models using SAS statistical software.
• Work on data like Business Inventories, Saving Rates, Stock Prices, Real
Estate Loans.

Financial Statement Analysis Skills

• Working knowledge of balance sheet, profit and loss account.
• Profit and profitability analysis (ROI, ROE, profit margin), DU Pont analysis,
Liquidity analysis, Turnover ratio.
