Day 2 - Tuesday Engage Stage Work on engagement #2 from the blog
Day 3 - Wednesday Engage stage Work on engagement #3 from the blog
Day 4 - Thursday Investigate Stage At school we will help you develop your question. Now you begin to learn more about the question you have answered. You can learn more by; 1. Looking for information on the Year 6 search engines 2. Interviewing people (experts or people who may know) 3. Reading books that relate to your question 4. Newspaper or magazine articles

Day 5 - Monday Investigate Stage continue to find out and learn more about your question (remember that you must cite all of your information sources, otherwise it is stealing the information)
Day 6 - Tuesday Investigate stage / Act stage Finish any finding out you still need to do Think of an interesting and attractive way to present what you have learned and begin to create
Day 7 - Wednesday Act stage Work on creating so you can present your new learning in an interesting way Re-read the feedback you received from your previous Learning Log and try to use that feedback to improve presentation
Day 8 - Thursday Act Stage Finish creating. Publish your learning on the class blog, selecting the correct learning log date catergory (e.g. Thursday 28 th August).
Day 9 - Friday Discuss & Rethink Stages These stages are completed at school We reflect on each others work and give meaningful feedback You set an improvement goal for your next learning log Home Learning is 4 days per week (ideally Monday to Thursday, however some families may choose to organise this differently)
An average of 30 minutes per evening should be spent on your learning log
10 minutes per evening should be spent working on Math knowledge practice
