Language Arts

Course Description: Language Arts is an important part of students education and goes hand in hand
with reading. Learning correct grammar, mechanics, punctuation, and how to write certain genres will
help students understand the things that they read and help them in the real world. Students will also
learn all types of writing styles and techniques.

Required Materials: Students will need notebook, pens, pencils, and paper.
Course Policies
Participation: Students are epected to participate in all class acti!ities. "he more the students
participates, the better their educational eperience and learning will be.
Late work: At teachers discretion.
Makeup work: #t is the students responsibility to see me for any makeup work. "hey will ha!e the
same amount of time they missed school plus one day to makeup work.
Progress Reports: $rogress reports will be sent home once each nine weeks.
