Your Task(s) is/are:
The Holiday Show Entry Point Celebration
During week 3 your class will transform into a Class Travel Agents!
For homework you will need prepare a presentation about your favorite holiday destination. This can
be a country, city or specific locality important to you.
You may like to include the following information about your destination:
Tourist attractions e.g. buildings, parks, sporting venues etc.
Climate and Weather
Landscape e.g. beach, mountains, rivers etc.
Number of visitors per year maybe present this in a graph
National flag
Cost to fly there from Dubai
Places to stay e.g. hotels, camp sites, apartments etc.
Location- which continent is it in? Which countries are near by?
Animals native to the location
Famous people who live there
The teachers in Year 5 love creativity so you can choose to present your work in any way you like- the
more creative the better!
In week 3 the Year 5 classes will open their doors to each other for class museum/market place for
the rest of the year group to learn about your favourite destination.

Counting, Partitioning and Calculating
Choose your challenge from the Maths on Target activity. You only need to complete one of the
sections, A, B or C. Complete your chosen activity in your Maths Home Learning book and hand in to
your teacher on Monday for marking.
