For homework you will need prepare a presentation about your favorite holiday destination. This can be a country, city or specific locality important to you. You may like to include the following information about your destination: Tourist attractions e.g. buildings, parks, sporting venues etc. Climate and Weather Landscape e.g. beach, mountains, rivers etc. Number of visitors per year maybe present this in a graph National flag Cost to fly there from Dubai Places to stay e.g. hotels, camp sites, apartments etc. Location- which continent is it in? Which countries are near by? Animals native to the location Famous people who live there The teachers in Year 5 love creativity so you can choose to present your work in any way you like- the more creative the better! In week 3 the Year 5 classes will open their doors to each other for class museum/market place for the rest of the year group to learn about your favourite destination. Year 5 Maths on Target differentiated activities will continue in Term 1.1 to help the childrens transition into Year 5. This will begin in week 2 when Maths splits begin.
