All About Me Oral Presentation, Ms.

Marcus, 4
th
Grade, Room 5 Fall 2014
All About Me Bagpack Display and Presentation
Some of you have known each other since you were young children. Others, have only recently met.
Despite our individuality, we all come together to form a team. We see each other every day, but how
much do we truly know about one another? As a way to celebrate our differences and explore what
those differences mean within a community setting, we are all going to give the rest of the class a little
insight about who we really are as individuals.
Using the All About Me questions and your bagpack, create a presentation which will be displayed in the
classroom.
We will feature presentations from 6-7 students each day the week of September 23. A
schedule is attached. I (Ms. Marcus) will go first this week, so that everyone has a model to
work from. As a class we will assess my presentation and discuss what made it successful, and
what could be done to improve it. From there, students will be expected to develop their own
presentations.

For this first project only, time in class will be given to practice your oral presentation.

This construction of the bagpack assignment is to be primarily constructed/gathered during
time inside of school. Preparation for the oral report will happen in school and should be
practiced at home.

Attached is a checklist that will help you plan your presentation.

Included is a rubric to better understand how students will be graded.

Look for individuality and creativity!

1. Students Name should be large and clear.
2. Student should share a minimum of five interesting facts that reflect themselves.
