Decline in school behaviour

One of the major news issues today is based on the decline in student behaviour over
the recent years. Is this really the case?

Education is the most powerful key to ones success in life as it determines the quality
of life you’ll have in the future. With students’ behaviour reportedly on a decline,
what kind of future would they have with today’s current government delusion about
claiming school behaviour is improving while teachers, on the other hand dismissing
the governments claims and labelling “student behaviour as deplorable” and stating
that “television is to blame for decline in pupil behaviour”

So why are there so many student being excluded?

The high number of exclusions in the recent years is seen to be due to the lack of
discipline and respect taught within the home from a young age. These factors have
now led to uncontrollable behaviour that exists in the school today.

Within many main stream schools, uniforms are compulsory. Do you see this as
having a positive or a negative impact on student behaviour?

More than 2200 students in England are excluded from school every single day.
Exclusion levels are now equivalent to more than 1% in 10 pupils.

In order to help control and discipline students, should we bring back old methods of
discipline? Or are the modern methods to be implemented enough to bring a start to
improvements?

The question now is that what methods of discipline should be implemented?
