1)IntroducethewebtoolMyhistrototheclass.Eachstudentwillloginandcreatetheirown
account.Theteacherwillmodelcreatingseveraleventstoputintoastory.Studentswillthen
practicetofamiliarizethemselveswiththetool.(time:30minutes)
2)StudentswillthencreateadocumentwheretheywilllistthemajoreventsfromeachActin
theplay(twominimum/someActshavemayhavemore).Theymustbesuretonotetheyear,
thedayoftheweekinwhichtheeventoccurs,specifictime(ifknown,orsimplyindicatemorning
orevening),andfinally,thecitywheretheeventoccurs(VeronaorMantua).Then,students
shouldchooseonedirectquotewhichcapturestheessenceofeachchosenevent,andinclude
theAct,scene,andlinenumbersinparenthesisaftereachquote.
3)StudentsthenopenMyhistroandusetheirdocumentinformationtocreatetheeventsofthe
story.Inthewrittentext,studentsshouldputthequotations.Then,studentswilldownloada
photo/photoswhichdepictthemainactionineacheventtheyhavechosen.Studentsmustbe
suretoincludethetime,day,andyear.Onthemap,studentswillindicatealocation(Mantuaor
Verona).
